The Winchester Fire and Rescue Department is a combination system consisting of four stations. Station 1 is Friendship, Station 2 is Rouss, Station 4 is Shawnee, and Station 5 is South End. Wondering where Station 3 went? They were Sara Zane, which closed during the 1980's. You will also see some apparatus with the number "6" designation. These are City purchased units and are typically Battalion Chief's, Fire Marshall, Administration, etc. The volunteers own the stations and most apparatus and are supplemented with Winchester City career staff.
I think you will like the apparatus, and especially the color assortment. Friendship Station 1 is a unique black over orange, with some apparatus still painted orange and white. Rouss Truck Company 2 is green and white. Shawnee Station 4 is red and white, and South End is black over red. Finally, city purchased trucks are white with orange stripes. A box alarm can bring quite an assortment of apparatus colors to the scene.
